A Houston rapper named <strong>Trae </strong>hauled off and punched Mike Jones in the face giving him a bloody nose. This all happened at the Awards show in front of the masses.</p> <p>The Box, Trae punched Mike Jones in the face before the show started. Trae appeared as if he wanted to talke to Mike but, punched him in the face instead. Her eyewitnesses say Mike’s nose was bleeding pretty bad, but they were not sure if it was broken. No word yet on what really caused the fight. He recently was hospitalized and treated for pneumonia, which his publicist said was not related to the disease.</p>The day before he died, Mac's rep insisted he was stable, in no danger and expected to be released within the week, even though it was clear Mac was on his death bed. I always get worried when I hear a young person catches a case of pneumonia that proves to be deadly (yes 50 is young folks).. It makes me wonder in certain cases who may be suffering from Acute Immune Deficiency. Nevertheless, Your boy will be missed. Maybe talk about how when crack was introduced into the poorest of neighbors, how it ruined a lot of lives...purposely. Of course they wouldn't go to that extreme, but I thought since Soledad O'brien researched for 18 months black women and men that she would have discovered some interviewees with some solutions. and I really hoped that she wouldn't put a crack head or somebody with no teeth on there! Nope. Sure enough she went the safe way out. I guess she has to keep her job. I believe CNN is going to do more series on different subjects affecting blacks in America. I think every month. The story is familiar - black boy told he shouldn’t go to college, he’d do better being a garabage man. He decides to join the army and goes to Vietnam. He comes back and robs a bank. He goes to jail, comes out and he gets hooked on crack. He stays addicted. He has no relationship with her daughter. He hits rock bottom and turns his life around. I thought I might learn something new, I was disappointed for many reasons. Everyone speaks of solutions while avoiding how the problems began. For instance Black females have always been forced into the position of head of the household this started during slavery when the family by law could be divided and inventory needed to be increased. When welfare was offered to African American Women during the 1960’s it required that no male be present in the home again creating the female headed household. </p> <p>My point is if solution are truly the goal, then true insight into how these conditions have evolved must be examined there is a beginning to every situation. Without such true insight the question will forever remain “What are the solutions?”</p><p><span style="font-weight: bold;">On the subject “Missing Fathers”, </span>where are the Fathers I kept waiting for someone to mention how the “System” is designed? The “System” is designed to keep the male out of the house! If a women has a child she can get help from the government if the man is NOT around. It is more beneficial to the woman - link card, subsidised housing, medical ibenefits. </p> <p>In order to find a solution, you must go back to the origin of the problem. The system needs to be revamped. I didn't feel that the show brought any new insight to blacks or whites for that matter. Same old same old. They did bust Washington DC out for having that high percentage of residents with the HIV or AIDS virius. 1 out of every 20 residents are walking around with it. I just felt that it didn't dwelve into the real problems and solutions facing all americans today. Race is not going to even matter in a minute. It's going to be about Rich or Poor. One good thing that I can say about this shallow series is that it has started a lot of interesting conversations. Maybe Spike Lee will come out with a more intensive researched documentary on Blacks. Go back in history and show how our family bond was broken in the beginning! Yes people 400 years ago. Let's get our culture back and be proud of it.</p>DON'T BE DUPED! "He has the attitude, the swagger and most of all, the physique that our customers can both aspire and relate to." Additionally, the Bad Boy Entertainment CEO hopes the images of Nelly in his underwear will make the ladies melt. "And let's be honest, all of the ladies out there are going to be thanking us for this campaign," he added. "The images are so strong; they speak for themselves." The petition demands that the network cease their attacks on black Americans, specifically Senator and Democratic presidential hopeful Barack Obama and his wife Michelle, during their news broadcasts. In a press release announcing the event, the organization accuse the network of an alleged pattern of incidents -- including an onscreen graphic that referred to the Obama's wife as his "baby's mama," a pundit who "confused" Obama with terrorist al Qaeda leader Osama bin Laden and then joked that both should be "assassinated," and the now-infamous comment by a Fox anchor who described the Obamas' fist bump as a "terrorist fist jab." It also cites an incident in February, when Nas nemesis Bill O'Reilly talked about calling a "lynching party" to deal with Michelle Obama. "When Fox talks about lynching the woman who may soon be our first lady and then refers to this wife and mother as a 'baby mama,' they are maligning not only the Obamas, but black women and black people across this country," said James Rucker, executive director of ColorOfChange.org in a statement. According to local news channel WSBTV2, the incident took place at around 7 p.m. in an apartment complex in Stone Mountain, Georgia. Reports said that the 24-year-old rapper (real name: Darryl Richardson) had received a call from his sister who said she had gotten into an argument with her boyfriend. </span> <span class="regulartextlink">This is when authorities said Scrappy went to his sister's apartment, and became involved in an altercation with his sister's boyfriend, and ended up getting stabbed. He's ok though. Scrappy was listed in stable condition Saturday.</span><span class="regulartextlink"> That's not all the bad news for Scrappy though. He was also arrested, as mentioned earlier. When police arrived on the scene, they took the rapper into custody and charged him with felony possession of marijuana, felony possession of a firearm/knife, battery and obstruction of officers. As of Saturday afternoon (July 19), Scrappy remained in jail. Although a bail amount of $1,500 was issued for the misdemeanor battery and obstruction charges, an amount was not determined for the felony drug and gun charges.</span> <span class="regulartextlink"> Props to BallerStatus...
