Beanie Sigel is releasing his fourth studio album, “The Solution,” scheduled to hit stores on Dec. 11 – and the Broad Street Bully explains the LP will have a more serious tone and soulful sound than his previous work. “I realize that the game has changed … everything sounds the same … very repetitive … I consider myself relevant in the rap game at all times,” said Sigel, who also appears on Jay-Z’s upcoming “American Gangster” album. “After you party and do all that, now the real world kicks in. The pain, the stress, agony. The lessons you learn. Your come-ups, your downfalls. The real world – which I deal with in my music – is always relevant.” “All the shit [you] might go through in the course of a day is on my album. I’m talking about religion, spiritually, getting a piece of mind. All that counts and all that’s in my music.” Aside from guest features by Scarface, Styles P, and R. Kelly – Sigel reached out to Philly-based producers Dre & Vidal, who have utilized soul samples from Luther Vandross (on “I’m In”) and Marvin Gaye (on “Children”). HIP HOP “The Solution” will drop on State Property/Roc-A-Fella Records under the Def Jam umbrella.

MUSIC NEWS: FREEWAY AND BEANIE TO RELEASE DATES...

Originally due Oct. 9, Philadelphia rapper Freeway's long-in-the-works sophomore album, "Free At Last," will now arrive Nov. 20 via Roc-A-Fella. The disc was co-executive produced by Jay-Z and 50 Cent; Jay-Z guests on the track "Rocafella Billionaires," which has been at radio since July. Additional contributions will be heard from Lil Wayne, Jadakiss, Paul Wall, Busta Rhymes, Rick Ross, Scarface and Too $hort, with production supplied by Dame Grease, Cool & Dre, J.R. Rotem and Don Cannon. "The album is soulful. I think it's gonna be another classic," Freeway tells Billboard.com. "I didn't fall into what people thought I was going to do or what everyone else is doing. If you're a fan, you'll love it." Freeway's album arrives ahead of the Dec. 11 release "The Solution," the new album from his State Property colleague Beanie Sigel.

According to MTV News, Beanie Sigel has recorded a song with R. Kelly for his new album "The Solution" despite the singer's beef with Jay-Z. The song is called "All of the Above" and is described as a club friendly street track in line with Young Jeezy's "Go Getta". "I ain't even know if he was gonna do it," Beans explained. "I told him I got this record — 'cause you know the situation with Jay and him. ... I was like, 'If dude gets on this record, it'll be crazy.' So I sent it out to him, got the response he was gonna do it. [Kelly] knocked it out, he sent it back in like three days." Jay-Z is also slated to appear on "The Solution" along with Lil' Wayne and Scarface. "He's supposed to do another song," Beanie said about his good friend 'Face. "I went out to his spot, we just was zoning every day. Playing golf, just some chill sh--. On the last day, he was playing his music, I was playing him music, then we just locked in and did the record. When we together, we knock out stuff right there."
