LIL FLIP CLEARED OF STOLEN CREDIT CARD CHARGES

Houston rapper Lil Flip has been cleared of charges alleging he had purchased an airline ticket with a stolen credit card in June. Charges were dropped on Thursday after a Houston grand jury disclosed that the ticket was actually bought by a South Carolina man who Lil Flip believed worked for a legitimate travel agency. Lil Flip, 26, was accused of using a stolen American Express card to purchase a $671 Southwest Airlines ticket from Houston to Baltimore on June 8. Flip surrendered to police in July.
