As many of you already know, Ashanti has been racking up acting credits since she released her last album, Concrete Rose, in 2004. Since then she has starred in The Muppet’s Wizard Of Oz (2005), Coach Carter (2005), and John Tucker Must Die (2006). Keeping the streak going, Ashanti will next appear alongside Milla Jovovich in this fall’s Resident Evil: Extinction.Ashanti will play a character named Betty, one of several femme fatals out the rid the world of zombies who prey on the flesh of the living.
