MUSIC NEWS: JAY-Z'S LATEST BUSINESS VENTURE

Jay-ZJay-Z is reportedly set to develop and market men's and women's cosmetic products through an exclusive global licensing agreement with Elizabeth Arden. The deal allows the latter company to capitalize on the market Jay-Z consolidated via Rocawear. The hip hop mogul last year sold the urban clothing line to Iconix Brand Group for a reported $250M. The venture with Elizabeth Arden comes on the heels of Jay-Z’s tenth solo album release, November 6 (‘American Gangster’). Three dates remain on his brief ‘American Gangster’ tour and the emcee is through Sirius Satellite Radio replacing "Hip Hop Nation" with "Jay-Z Nation.” The week long set features music from the new album, old tracks, as well as commentary on his personal hip hop favorites.
