MUSIC NEWS: T.I. WORKING ON NEW LP, PSC MEMBERS WORKING ON SOLOS....

COURTESY OF: DEF SOUNDS Riding off the success of his last LP, “T.I Vs. T.I.P”, Atlanta rapper TI is already back in the booth recording tracks for his upcoming untitled LP.

According to Jason Geter, CEO of T.I.’s Grand Hustle label, TI’s looking to reunite with Dj Toomp, who didn’t make much of an appearance on TI. Vs. T.I.P.

Geter tells Billboard.com T.I. “would like to work with” longtime collaborator, producer DJ Toomp, this time around. Toomp produced songs on each of T.I.’s prior albums but was noticeably absent from “T.I. vs. T.I.P.”

In related news, Grand Hustle’s Dj Drama is gearing up for the release of his “Gangsta Grillz” compilation album due out in December while Grand Hustle rappers Big Kuntry and Young Dro will be dropping in early ‘08.

According to Billboard, the first official single will be “5000 One’s,” featuring T.I., Diddy, Twista, Yung Joc, Young Dro and Willie the Kid. Drama is slated to shoot the song’s video in mid-October in Atlanta.

Kuntry’s first single is “That’s Right” featuring T.I., and will appear on his debut album, “My Turn To Eat.”

Young Dro’s next album will be titled “Young and the Restless,” but doesn’t have a first single just yet.
