ASHANTI GRACES THE PAGES OF MAXIM MAGAZINE

Ashanti looking beautiful in her spread for Maxim mag. Here is a little peak into the questionnaire.

Do you have an instant turnoff?

I can’t stand guys who are too matchy matchy. If you have on a Gucci hat, a Gucci belt, Gucci socks, Gucci Sneakers, and a Gucci wristband, do not come near me. You’re trying way too hard.

Have you taken revenge on a lying cheating boyfriend? I’ve been hurt. Absolutely. It takes you to a dark place. But I don’t support murdering anyone. You can hurt him a little bit - Maybe throw some hot grits on him.

Doesn’t someone as busy as you have better things to do than sit around and watch Oxygen? I like Oxygen. But I usually watch crazy stuff like Forensic Files on TruTv. There’s something fascinating about cutting open a dead body and seeing if their peas were digested.

NEW PICS: Check out La La's spread in Sports Illustrated (She's got a good Agent)

You might find yourself wondering, "Why is she in Sports Illustrated???" I dunno...maybe it has something to do with the fact that she is shacking up w/ Carmelo Anthony of NBA? Carmelo Anthony’s fiancĂ©, LaLa Vazquez, is featured in the player’s wives section of Sports Illustrated’s 2008 Swimsuit Issue. Well, even though they aren't married yet, she looks bodacious in this shoot. Big props La La. Nice ta-ta's.

ERYKAH BADU TALKS TO GIANT MAG ABOUT HER EX-LOVERS

ALBUM IN STRORES FEB 26TH The always elusive Erykah Badu talks about life, music and love in her first interview with GIANT. Here's a little of what she had to say about her highly-publicized romances: "I know about the backlash, the 'Erykah Badu, if you look at her, she’ll make you change gods and wear crochet pants' backlash," she says. "But nobody looks at the things that those people have given to me." What have they given you? "Just so much musical freedom. Common is the most humble person I ever met. Kind and generous. He reinforced that in me. Andre is very creative and artistic. All of that that you see of him, that’s all him. That’s how he is, and that gave me a creative push, too." Although Badu is fairly cryptic when discussing her old beaus, she allows this brief, whispered indulgence. "With Andre, we were both very young, so we didn’t know what we wanted or anything. We just knew we were in love, and we didn’t care who saw us. With Common, it was a little bit more mature."
