[FAITH EVANS] Seen in her late teens to early 20s, she is a beautiful, talented singer with a background in gospel music and the first female artist to be signed to Puffy's Bad Boy record label. To Biggie's surprise, she also has beat box skills. Faith and Biggie meet at a photo shoot, make cute, and get married shortly after, to their friends' astonishment. She bears him a son, CJ. Unfortunately, Faith discovers that fame and married life don't go well together; there is very little alone time for the couple, and jealousy, anger, and infidelity quickly tear the two apart. She likens their relationship to "playing house." At Biggie's funeral, Faith emotionally sings "I want Jesus to walk with me."...LEAD [MARK PITTS] Initially an intern at Uptown Records, this attractive African American man leaves the company when Puffy starts his own label, Bad Boy Records. Mark and Biggie become friends when they bond over Voletta's cancer diagnosis (Mark's mom died of cancer when he was 15). Mark promises Voletta that he'll keep Biggie in line and safe from the nihilistic and hedonistic music world. When Biggie gains fame and fortune, Mark and his cousin Wayne become Biggie's co-managers...SUPPORTING [KIM] In her teens to early 20s, she's a petite, attractive African-American girl, first seen wearing conservative business attire and a Bloomingdale's name tag. She and Biggie embark on a volatile, tumultuous sexual relationship and we see that Kim loves him deeply, even after he marries the beautiful up-and-coming singer, Faith Evans. Kim is also a superbly talented rapper, and while she and Biggie continue their affair, he also helps her define her image and get into the music game. She joins Junior Mafia and finds success as a sexy, bold, tough female rapperóa contrast to her true persona, which longs to be coddled and taken care of by Biggie. She is extremely jealous of Biggie's wife, Faith Evans and often wonders what Faith's got that she doesn't...SUPPORTING [DAMIEN] Seen from age 17 to early 20s, he's an African-American man and one of Biggie's drug dealing friends from Bed Stuy, Brooklyn. He's also the best, most loyal friend Biggie could hope for. Damien supports Biggie's ambition, and when the two are arrested for carrying an illegal weapon, Damien makes a difficult choice to sacrifice himself, offering Biggie a better chance to

make something of himself. ...LEAD [CEASE] Seen from 14-20, he is one of Biggie's best friends from the old neighborhood. He is younger than Biggie, so he is more like a little brother. Biggie took Cease with him everywhere and kept him out the drug game. In return, Cease was fiercely protective of Biggie, especially when he saw Biggie being attacked in the media. Throughout Biggie's rise to fame, the love and bond they shared grew. Biggie didn't drive, so Cease drove him everywhere. After performing with BIG as his hype man, Cease earns himself a spot in Biggie's Junior M.A.F.I.A...LEAD [TUPAC SHAKUR] In his early 20s, this good-looking, smooth-tongued, muscular African American rapper is a big star when he meets Biggie. Biggie is not yet a star but trying to make it in the rap game, so Tupac takes him under his wing and the two become fast friends. Tupac's favorite piece of advice is for Biggie to implement a "five year plan." He warns Biggie about the fake people and hangers-on he's bound to meet when he becomes famous. The two perform together at Madison Square Garden, meet women, and share a lot of laughs. Their friendship turns to animosity when Tupac is shot and nearly killed in a recording studio. Tupac believes Biggie set him up, and nothing will convince him otherwise. Tupac's lyrics take direct aim at Biggie in the months to come, suggesting an affair between Tupac and Biggie's wife, Faith. Biggie bites his tongue and hopes it will all blow over but before the two can ever reconcile, Tupac is murdered in Las Vegas...SUPPORTING [PRIMO] This muscular African American man with gold-tipped teeth challenges Christopher to a rap battle of wits and serves up a verbal assault. Christopher one-ups Ralston and wins the day...1 line & 1 song, 1 scene
