“We’re closer to the real hip-hop from the early 90s to the mid 90s, than the stuff that’s out right now that people are calling hip-hop. Why is our stuff called hipster hip-hop, and they’re called hip-hop, and they’re nothing like what hip-hop was? We’re closer to hip-hop than they are.”
