The law hit Ms. Ma with an eight year sentence for charges of assault, weapons possession and attempted coercion.
In other news, after the rapper and fiancé Papoose had their wedding canceled on Monday (May 12), due to Pap trying to sneak in a key to handcuffs, the pair still plans to wed.
Remy Ma's lawyer, Ivan Fisher, denies the key could be used to unlock handcuffs.
