Just months after Drag-On dropped his independent release, Hood Environment, Drag-On has officially signed with Swizz Beatz’ Full Surface family.
After years of being out of the spot light, Drag-On has been popping up with new freestyles as well as a recent guest appearance on Swizz Beatz’ latest album, One Man Band Man, for Bust Ya Gunz. A track they had previously performed together during their Ruff Ryder days. Along with numerous tracks recorded with [now] label-mate Cassidy.
Heading his own label, Hood Environment, the New York rapper has big plans for the future. “This will give me a chance to bring in new talent and give others a chance to shine as well. My label is gonna be 100% with hard music for the streets. This time I’m the CEO and I know what the people want. Hood Environment the CD in stores now! Swizz Beatz CD in stores now! Cassidy coming! Support real music we do this from the heart,” says Drag-On.
