HUEY DOES WEB VIDEO TRILOGY FOR FANS...

Jive Records recording artist, Huey, of "Pop, Lock & Drop It" fame, has dropped a trilogy of music videos for his fans on the internet.
The videos, which are available for viewing on all the major video sharing websites, reveal a different side of Huey that fans of his smash hit, "Pop, Lock, & Drop It," may not know of. The three videos are meant to be seen in a certain order, revealing what a day in the life of Huey is like. The first is the non-album track called "Adidas," which shows Huey visiting the "I Am St. Louis" store to pick up some fresh new Adidas gear. The next video is "Aye," showing the rapper having a good time in St. Louis and celebrating life on a hot summer day. The third and final video for another non-album track is "Nobody Loves the Hood." "The videos show what a typical day is like where I call my boys up, we get some new Adidas clothes and then we're feelin' good, so we party and holler 'Aye,' but then a gunshot rings out and the emotions kick in and we're reminded that we still got a lot of problems in the hood," explains the rapper. All three videos can be viewed on Huey's official YouTube channel at YouTube.com/HueyPopLockDropSTL. Huey, who is responsible for launching the dance craze he nicknamed "The G5," has not only been touring the country promoting his debut album, Notebook Paper, but has also been working with the mayor of his hometown, Kinloch, a municipality in St. Louis' North County District, to rebuild the community. "My neighborhood used to have a sense of community, but now it's dead due to drugs and things getting too hot there. So, I'm investing my money to rebuild youth centers, libraries, schools, and stores," said the rapper. The destitution that plagues St. Louis is portrayed in one of the three new videos titled, "Nobody Loves the Hood." He is also currently busy working on a DVD, a HueyTV website, gearing up for a tour with R. Kelly, raising his baby girl, and working on developing his new label Huey Records. "Pop, Lock & Drop It" has sold almost 2 million ringtones and over 1 million digital downloads. I WONDER HOW MUCH MONEY THAT IS IN RINGTONES AND DOWNLOADS...ENOUGH TO RETIRE OFF OF?
