WYCLEF: "MRS. HILL NEEDS HELP"

In a recent interview with Angie Martinez on New York’s HOT97, Wyclef Jean, who’s new album, Carnival II: Memoirs Of An Immigrant, hit stores last week, spoke about what he thinks is troubling his former Fugee counterpart Lauryn Hill. He said,

“I sense a vibe of bi-polar. I kept saying that. I even brought it back to her parents. And the reason why I’m speaking loud on it now is, I don’t know if anybody telling her this. But straight up, Miss Hill needs help. And if anybody around her not telling her this, then that mean they don’t got real love for her.”

He also clarified where he stands on the failed Fugees reunion:

“I’m real cool. I don’t have no beef. But it’s like, I’m not a young boy no more…. I just can’t waste time. The reunion, I assumed it was gonna happen and I took like a good two years off to see if it was gonna happen. But now basically I just gotta move on, and if at any time the Fugees are really ready and want to make something happen, I ain’t hard to find. I’ll be in Haiti.”
